WTU Redesign

The Ask

In its current iteration, WTU’s website was in need of a refresh. A revitalization of their branding to promote their energy plans in a clean, concise, eye-catching manner. I was in charge of UX design.

Design Process

Page Research

With complete creative freedom, I was tasked with creating an eye catching design from the ground up. The reference I used was the main homepage and was the most visited page for the brand. The issue was it was not leading to conversions and caused some users to even bounce off of the page. I decided to grab all the information off of this page and completely scrap it, creating something new.

Header Redesign

The first part I decided to tackle was the header page. I wanted to give the users something to draw their eyes too, such as a promotional space or product.

Most Popular Product

After the header, I had the most popular product on display. This would come before the table of offerings to create a sense of importance as well as portray what most people come to the site for.

Product Offerings

Now with the rest of the products, I decided to mimic the theme I had going for the rest of the homepage, creating a consistent look and feel.
