Portland Gas and Electric Power Partner Product

Portland Gas and Electric had a new product they wanted to launch, but did not have the design insight necessary to bring the idea to fruition.

PGE brought me onto the project to lead the design team in creating a robust product workflow for their power partner product pages for both desktop and mobile iterations.

I worked with a fellow designer, and together the two of us were able to update the PGE design system, product pages, and user flows to incorporate the new power partner product. Collaborating with the engineering team, we were able to successfully launch the product with minimal issues.

The new power partner product was a success according to PGE. Users were able to navigate to and sign up for the new product with ease.
A key driving factor for this new product launch for PGE was a mobile first design. Their users were providing feedback that their experience on mobile was not pleasant and wanted a more modern experience. This is an example of how I tackled that problem by creating a simple yet intuitive mobile design.
Translating the page from mobile to desktop and vice versa was a collaborative effort with design and engineering.
The customer journey was already outlined for us, so the designing and working off of user feedback from other product pages helped us create a cohesive experience that eliminated the major pain points.
