United Healthcare Product Page Updates
Project details
-
United Healthcare wanted a new modern look for their product pages. Users were struggling to complete the insurance application process due to the pages lacking common features found on competitor sites.
-
I was brought into the project to help the United Airlines team design new components, new product pages, and new user flows. I was responsible for cross team collaboration and engineering sign off on designs to make sure they met accessibility, feasibility, and practicality standards.
-
I led the UX design efforts for United Healthcare’s internal platform, building a comprehensive design system that cut design-to-development time from five days to three. I modernized over 100 interfaces with WCAG-compliant patterns, making the platform more accessible and intuitive for all users. I also improved key features based on user research, which directly boosted engagement and streamlined workflows for both members and internal teams.
-
Members could sign up faster and with far less confusion—enrollment times dropped by nearly a third.
Fewer mistakes meant applications were processed sooner, so people could start using their benefits without unnecessary delays.
